AC Milan keeps their Serie A title hopes alive with the 2-1 win against Genoa on Sunday as they cut Inter’s lead to eight points on the table. Ante Rebic had given them an early lead in the 13th minute putting the second-placed Milan in the lead. Former Milan loanee Mattia Destro later leveled the score for Genoa and later with an Own Goal by Gianluca Scamacca, Milan claimed the three points.
Later on, Inter and Napoli match ended in a draw leaving Inter at 75 points and Milan running behind with 66 points. Milan is still hoping for a win at the same time securing their Champions League berth for next season. Running behind them is Atalanta who secured a 1-0 win over Juventus and leapfrogged them on the table to take third place and leave them trailing by two points in fourth place.
