Modric back with Madrid after international duty with Croatia

Modric, who has been involved with Croatia in the Nations League quarter-final against France, joined Madrid training in the second preparatory session of the week.

The midfielder, as reported by the Merengue club, joined Lucas Vazquez, Fran Garcia, Raul Asencio, Andriy Lunin and Jesus Vallejo in a training session that was joined by the Madrid Castilla squad.

France's Mendy and Ceballos, out of Ancelotti's side in recent matches, continued their respective recoveries and worked individually in the gym and on the pitch, while Carvajal, Militao and Belgium's Courtois, absent for Belgium's second match against Ukraine, did the entire session indoors.
