Ahead of the UCL clash between Bayern and Barcelona today, Muller and Kimmich insisted that former teammate Lewandowski cannot be compared to current teammate Kane, as the two have completely different playstyles.
“Lewandowski is the striker I have played with the longest and most intensely, I had a special relationship with him on the pitch but that relationship doesn't exist on Wednesday so I won't pass the ball to him," Muller told 'Bild', ending his responde with a lighthearted joke. Muller assisted 64 of the striker's 334 goals for Bayern.
When asked about the duel between the England captain and the Barcelona striker, Kimmich was quick to praise both, while also ackowledging their different types of playstyles. "Harry is someone who likes to participate in the game and can sometimes make dozens of passes while Lewi is more focused on scoring goals, both help their teams a lot," he said.
