Napoli defeated Monza 4-2

Napoli defeated Monza 4-2 on Sunday to maintain their modest hopes of finishing in the top four of Serie A. They did this by scoring three goals in the first six minutes of the second half. With 48 points, Napoli is ten points behind Bologna in fourth place in the standings. Bologna and Napoli drew goallessly in Frosinone earlier on Sunday. 11th place Monza has 42 points. Nine minutes into the game, Milan Duric scored a goal for Monza after outmuscling Juan Jesus of Napoli to connect with a cross.

Victor Osimhen's equalizer sparked Napoli's comeback ten minutes into the second half, and two minutes later, Matteo Politano's incredible volley sealed the victory. Piotr Zielinski's long-range shot in the 61st minute gave the visitors their third goal. A minute later, Andrea Colpani quickly increased Monza's lead with a stunning curled shot into the corner, and 68 minutes into the match, Giacomo Raspadori scored Napoli's fourth goal.
