Ndicka’s last minute grasp helps Frankfurt beat Berlin

Evan Ndicka headed the triumphant goal in the added time to give Eintracht Frankfurt a 2-1 success over Union Berlin after he had previously given away a penalty on a silver platter to let Union back into the Bundesliga game. Playing in front of an almost empty stadium in the first match Leipzig lost 3-1 to Bayer Leverkusen on Sunday. Moussa Diaby scored one goal and assisted with one more for Leverkusen in a game eclipsed by the infection.

In the second match, the French center rectified his mistakes in the last desperate attack while Frankfurt searched for a winner in the fifth minute of injury time. He leaped at the last minute to meet Filip Kostic's cross from the deep and pushed it in for the 12th-place Frankfurt's first home league win in the season.
