Newcastle United join the race for Federico Chiesa

After big cash infusion, Newcastle United is now one of the wealthiest clubs and has made an offer on Juventus winger Federico Chiesa. Till now from Premier League only Manchester United and Liverpool had been the active clubs chasing the Juventus star because of the big asking price.

Chiesa has been an important part of the Italian national team and even in Serie A, he was a crucial part of the Juventus squad netting eight goals and eight assists in his 30 appearances last season, this season so far the 23-year-old has tallied two goals and an assist already. The Old lady is demanding around €115/120m from the Magpies though the club is still reserved about selling Chiesa. Earlier even Cristiano Ronaldo was building pressure on Manchester United to put an offer for Chiesa in an attempt to reunite with him at Old Trafford.
