Nice hold PSG to a goalless draw

PSG lost the opportunity to gain two points against Nice as they ended the match with a goalless draw. The French giants are still at the top of the table in Ligue 1 with 12 points lead with Marseille in the second space after they won a 1-0 win against 10-man Nantes.

Lionel Messi recently won his seventh Ballon d'Or and showed that off to the Paris Saint-Germain crowd but remained quiet for the rest of the night with the 0-0 draw at Parc des Princes. The 34-year-old was doubtful for the match after picking up a stomach bug but still played against Nice while PSG missed Neymar due to an ankle injury. Angel Di Maria and Kylian Mbappe came close to breaking the deadlock but were unsuccessful in that. PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino later stated that they created many chances and deserved the three points.
