Palace about to lose Zaha to Galatasaray

According to 'The Guardian', Wilfried Zaha is close to a move to Turkish side Galatasaray on a three-year deal, as his contract has expired at Crystal Palace.

The Ivorian striker would be leaving Selhurst Park after eight seasons, where he was the lynchpin of the club's attack. The Turkish champions beat out an offer to renew with the London side that would have seen Zaha earning £200,000-a-week for another four years with Palace.

The 30-year-old also turned down several other offers, in and out of Europe, including Lazio, Fenerbahce and even Saudi Pro-League side, Al-Nassr, and the English outlet reports that the move will see him earning less than he would be had he stayed in the Premier League or opted for Saudi Arabia.

The key for Zaha was that Galatasaray won the Super Lig last season, which means they will enter ECL qualifying in the third round in August.
