Paris Saint-Germain has filed an appeal with the French Professional Football League (LFFP) to validate the signing, on loan, of Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech, a source at the club said.
The documents sent by Chelsea arrived after the deadline, with knowledgeable sources of the 'dossier' revealing that the English made several mistakes in the documents sent and when they delivered everything was right, the deadline was exceeded.
The 29-year-old player had already undergone medical examinations and the two clubs were in agreement on the transfer, on loan and without an option to buy, in what would be the club's only signing in the winter market.
Ziyech is in his third season at Chelsea, in which he has not been an undisputed option, with the player having played 15 games, six of which as a starter.
