Pioli encourages Ibra to renew with Milan

Speaking to 'Sky Sport', the manager said that he hopes Zlatan renews with Milan.

Age is no barrier for Ibra, quite the opposite. The striker is in enviable form and Milan are confident he will extend his contract.

Pioli spoke to 'Sky Sport' and encouraged Ibra to continue playing. "I think it would be good for him to continue to play and to play with us", he stated.

The Milan manager sees him happy and thinks that he could opt to renew. "Zlatan Ibrahimovic is happy with us and the best thing is that the players are happy. He's at a big club and everyone wants to play well", he noted.

His contract with Milan runs out in June 2021. And, at 39, he's not thinking about retirement. Milan hope that they can keep counting on the Swede, who has now surpassed 500 goals in his career.
