Portugal beat the Republic of Ireland 3-0 in their final Euro 2024 warm-up.

In their last Euro 2024 warm-up against the Republic of Ireland, Portugal defeated them 3-0, with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring twice in the second half of what may have been his final international match on home soil. After a skillfully executed short corner, Joao Felix gave the home team the lead in the eighteenth minute of Tuesday's game. Four minutes later, Ronaldo signaled his intentions by hammering a deflected free kick off the far post.

With a wonderful goal with his left foot early in the second half and another just after the hour mark, the 39-year-old proved he was not going to be denied as he scored 130 goals in 207 appearances for his country. After this year's tournament in Germany, there have been rumors that Ronaldo, who participated in his first Euros in 2004 and won the competition in 2016, may end his international career or maybe give up football entirely.
