Portugal will find evidence to validate Cristiano Ronaldo's Uruguay goal

Portugal are determined to give evidence to FIFA to show that Cristiano Ronaldo registered their first goal against Uruguay on Monday. Fernando Santos' med sealed their spot in the last 16 of the Qatar World Cup by trimpunhing over Uruguay 2-0 at the Lusail Stadium. Manchester United superstar Bruno Fernandes was said to have scored both of their goals, with the second being a penalty goal in added time.

Portugal's first goal was disputed. The ball got netted after Fernandes whipped it into a dangerous area for Ronaldo to take it home. Yet FIFA thinks that Ronaldo did not make a touch contact with the ball and have given the goal to Fernandes. Portugal is disappointed with FIFA's verdict because Ronaldo is just one goal away from becoming the country's joint-record scorer alongside Eusebio.
