PSG climbs closer to Ligue 1 leaders Lyon

Paris Saint-Germain defeated Brest 3-0 to close in on Lyon and celebrate the first win under Mauricio Pochettino at Parc des Princes. Moise Kean put his side ahead in the 16th minute and with 10 minutes remaining in the match, Mauro Icardi and Pablo Sarabia both scored to increase their lead, with three more points added to their tally they move close in on Lyon, who drew up with Rennes 2-2 but stayed put at the top.

Romain Faivre would have scored once for Brest but Keylor Navas’ theatrical save denied him a goal. Brest was not easy to deal with tonight even after they extended their winless run to 18 matches. Kylian Mbappe also saw his goal saved with a great effort by Larsonneur.
