PSG sinks a 10-man Lens 

Paris Saint-Germain beats eighth-placed Lens with a 2-0 victory. Kylian Mbappe scored and Gianluigi Donnarumma saved a penalty. After Donnarumma saved an early penalty attempt from Przemyslaw Frankowski at the Stade Bollaert, Bradley Barcola gave PSG the lead with his second goal for the French champions. Lens are a long cry from the squad that finished a point behind PSG last season, but their home form remains excellent, despite losing an 11-match undefeated streak just before the winter break.

However, their chances of coming back were dashed when Jonathan Gradit was sent off late in the first half after a VAR review for pulling down Barcola as the last defender. Nice, who fell 2-0 at Rennes on Saturday, is eight points behind PSG. Brest fell another point behind, while Monaco fell to fourth after losing 3-1 at home to Reims.
