Rafael Leao pulled off fastest-ever Serie A goal for AC Milan

The Portuguese striker Rafael Leao outmatched Sassuolo goalkeeper Andrea Consigli by firing off an assist from Hakan Calhanoglu quite early in the game at Mapei Stadium. Scoring in 6.2 seconds breaking the record laid by Piacenza's Paolo Poggi of 8.9 seconds in 2001. He also beat the record for the fastest strike in Premier League history beating the record set by Southampton's Shane Long of 7.69 seconds.

Alexis Saelemaekers Later doubled their lead in the 26th minute which was later challenged by Sassuolo once when Domenico Berardi scored late in the 89th minute. To end the night at 2-1 in favor of AC Milan they maintained their unbeaten run with 13 games and clinched the top spot in Serie A table with 31 points while Inter Milan stays behind them with one point. While Sassuolo is 6th on the table.
