New Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick has targeted RB Leipzig midfielder Amadou Haidara, according to The Times.
Per the report, Manchester United are looking into the possibility of bringing the Mali international to Old Trafford in January.
Sport Bild reported earlier this month that Haidara is available for around €40 million thanks to a release clause in his contract.
Rangnick signed Haidara from RB Salzburg in January 2019 while working as RB Leipzig sporting director.
Since his €19 million switch to Germany, the 23-year-old central midfielder has featured 100 times for Leipzig, racking up 10 goals and six assists.
