Real Madrid beats current leader Atletico Madrid in La Liga

Real Madrid ended Atletico Madrid’s unbeaten run in La Liga to wrap up the match in a clean win by 2-0 at the Bernabeu. Toni Kroos day just got better as the Madrid derby ended with Atletico conceding two-goal to Real and the win placed them third on the table. With just a three-point gap left on the table between both the teams. Since October Atletico Madrid was on a winning high after losing to Bayern Munich.

Casemiro scored the first goal in the 15th minute for Real and Dani Carvajal later forced Jan Oblak to push the goal into his own goal in the 63rd minute.  Elsewhere Valencia and Athletic Bilbao match ended in a tie 2-2. Sevilla got the best of Getafe by 1-0 and Huesca defeated Alaves by 1-0.
