Real Madrid extended Barcelona’s losing streak to four in Clasico as the team for the first time in years is ninth on the La Liga table with 15 points. It was an important win for Real Madrid who overcame the Catalan giants to get their hands on the three points that put them right below Real Sociedad with just a point lead. Madrid created more pressure on Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman with David Alaba’s goal on Sunday which ensured a 2-1 win in the Clasico.
Real Madrid was in the lead for a major part of the match with an early Alaba’s goal, later Lucas Vazquez increased the lead to two in injury time before Sergio Aguero pulled one back with his first goal for the team with seconds left on the clock.
