Real Madrid gave Bale free pass

Gareth Bale missed the last 'El Clasico' due to a back niggle, but only a few days later he said he felt 100% fit to play for his national team, Wales. According to 'AS', this irritated Madrid yet again but the club opted to reduce the chance of drama and allowed him to go on international duty. 'Los Blancos' eagerly await the summer when his contract expires so that they can offload the Welshman.

In 2019, Bale sent a message to Real Madrid with a notorious flag. He presented it during Wales' celebrations after qualifying for the 2020 Euros and it read: "Wales. Golf. Madrid. In that order."

The flag caused a lot of damage to Real who felt belittled by the message. 'Los Blancos' have always felt this way with Gareth Bale.

Controversy arises every time the Welshman has an upcoming international fixture.
