Real Madrid identify Lazio defender Mario Gila as a target 

According to a recent report by AS, Real Madrid has made Mario Gila, a defender for Lazio, their goal. According to reports, Los Blancos are considering making a bid this summer to sign the Spanish center back. During the previous season, Gila was able to put up a string of strong performances at the center of Lazio's defense. The 23-year-old made 29 appearances for the Italian team in the previous campaign, but he was unable to help them score or create any goals. 

With an average of 1.5 tackles, 1.0 interceptions, and 3.0 clearances per game in Serie A, the Spanish prospect was a respectable defensive player while he was in his own half. Even after finishing 90.2% of his passes in league football, he was accurate while passing the ball from the back.
