Real Madrid’s squad is clearly in need of some fresh faces

Karim Benzema has excelled in his role as the team's primary striker for a very long time. But now that he's 35, it appears that he could be succumbing to ageing after all. And when it comes to their primary striker for the future, Real Madrid cannot afford to take any chances with slipping behind other elite European teams.

The goal of Real Madrid's renewed "Operation Haaland" is to sign him before anybody else in 2024. The transfer price may range from €220 million to €240 million. Since he made a name for himself at Red Bull Salzburg, Erling Haaland has been discussed as a potential Real Madrid acquisition. With 28 goals for Manchester City, the Norwegian is now leading the Premier League golden boot race and is undoubtedly a clinical finisher in front of goal.
