Rivals do not forgive irregularities and want Man. City... relegated

Manchester City had a busy start to the week. The English club was accused of financial irregularities practiced in the last four years and activities, following an investigation carried out by the Premier League. Rivals, knowing what happened, ask now... for relegation.

According to The Sun newspaper, the citizens are not being forgiven by the clubs they rival in the English championship. In this sense, the same clubs will have already demanded the relegation of the Manchester club if the accusations are confirmed.

The same source cites the president of one of the clubs, who was not identified, but who asked for a heavy hand.

"If these allegations are proven, there must be a proper punishment. The only proper punishment is relegation. We are talking about a decade of alleged abuses and we want the Premier League to do what is right," he told the same newspaper.
