Roma forces a draw to end Napoli’s perfect start to the season

Napoli's winning streak of eight wins in eight matches has come to an end as Roma and the League leaders draw up at  Stadio Olimpico. Both sides saw their coaches sent off as the rivalry between the two turned ugly. Roma boss Jose Mourinho was sent off nine minutes to time for dissent as for Luciano Spalletti he was handed a red card for sarcastic applause. Both sides could not create a lot of chances on the field and would rue the day. Roma was already coming off a 6-1 humiliating loss at the hands of Norwegian outfit Bodo/Glimt.

In other matches, Giovanni Simeone scored four goals to help Verona takedown Lazio 4-1. Fiorentina fended off an attack by Cagliari to move seventh on the table with 3-0 win and Atalanta drew 1-1 at home with Udinese.
