Roma takes a comfortable win over Verona

Three First-Half goals by Roma helps them grab a comfortable win over Hellas Verona in the Serie A fixture Round 20. Paulo Fonseca’s Roma wished to rise to the top four positions with this match and they were before two points behind Juventus. The home side took the lead it needed while Verona’s ship sank, they on the other hand remain 9th on the table with 30 points. Both the teams had the identical formation of  3-4-2-1.

Roma was without Edin Dzeko and taking his place was Borja Mayoral and with the support of Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Lorenzo Pellegrini Roma had the midfield game set. Gianluca Mancini first struck for Roma off an assist by Lorenzo Pellegrini in the 20th minute Henrikh Mkhitaryan 2 minutes later made it 2-0 and Mayoral secured the 3-0 lead in 29th minute and Roma moved ahead.
