Antonio Rudiger will be an important starter in the Champions League quarter-final against Manchester City. The German defender will be tasked with trying to stop Erling Haaland in what is expected to be an exciting clash.
"It was a good game at home, I think we all did our best to keep Haaland under control. He wasn't able to get a lot of passes in. In the second game, Ancelotti neither apologised to me nor did he have to. I as a player had to accept the substitution. For this game, the plan is going to be the same as last year," he told a news conference.
"There are photos and videos, but these are things I don't plan anything. What I'm going to do is take that duel personally because I'm a defensive player against a super striker," he said of facing Haaland.
