Arsenal convincingly defeated Ipswich Town with a score of 4-0. However, there emerged a worrying update for Gunners fans .
Arsenal's head coach Mikel Arteta revealed that Bukayo Saka felt pain after a collision during the away victory over Ipswich Town, though he ruled out the possibility of a serious injury.
This season, Saka has already missed three months due to a hamstring injury, but he returned just in time to help Arsenal defeat Real Madrid and reach the Champions League semi-finals.
The England winger received medical attention after an unfortunate tackle from Ipswich left-back Leif Davis, whose studs painfully caught Saka on the foot. For this foul, Davis received a red card, while Saka was later spotted on the substitutes' bench with his foot wrapped in ice.
"I didn’t see the moment of the tackle — it all happened very quickly. I believe the referee made the right decision. He’s in a bit of pain, but luckily the injury doesn’t seem to be serious," Arteta commented.
