Sergio Romero explained his final time at Man Utd

Sergio Romero termed his final year at Man Utd as strange at Old Trafford. The Former Manchester United goalkeeper Romero but answered the claims that he was banished to Argentine after the January exit did not work out. The 34-year-old signed with Serie A side Venezia, after spending six-year with United.

Romero’s spell at United was off to a great start but later on with Dean Henderson’s rise, the players’ opportunities and playtime became limited with United. As Henderson was given more preference ultimately Romero failed to make an appearance for United in his final season as well. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer then labeled the player as surplus and hence the talk of January exit to Everton kicked off.
