Serie A: Lecce Sampdoria draw

Considering that the Blucerchiati travelled to the Stadio Via del Mare without Emil Audero, Ignacio Pussetto, Koray Gunter, Andrea Conti, and Manuel De Luca, they are already all but lost. Lecce have lost six straight games despite being comfortably in the middle of the standings. In the first 80 seconds, Assan Ceesay attempted to deflect Samuel Umtiti's header from a corner, but it flashed inches wide of the upright.

While there was a furious scramble in the six-yard box that saw three Oudin and Alexis Blin tries pushed down by Nicola Ravaglia and his defenders, Remi Oudin also hammered narrowly beyond the far post from the outside of the area. After deflecting an errant Gabriel Strefezza effort and tipping a Ceesay header over the bar, the Gambian attacker ultimately broke the tie. Strefezza received a long Wladimiro Falcone pass from Ceesay, who rose to flick it on for him. Strefezza then scored a half-volley from 12 yards away.
