Sevilla beat Valencia by 1-0

Sevilla still keeps their La Liga title hopes alive in the tight title race after Youssef En-Nesyri scored the only goal of the match for the team at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuan. Julen Lopetegui’s side was struggling from a lackluster performance in the opening 45 minutes but the team found their form later in the second half when En-Nesyri scored for the team and rescued them from a draw instead and helped their cause for the title as the top teams drop the opportunity to seize the title for themselves.

Sevilla is fourth on the table now and are three points adrift of leaders Atletico Madrid, two points off Barcelona, and one point away from third-placed- Real Madrid. The previous loss to Bilbao really hurt their title chances but Sevilla is back in the game with the 23rd win of the season. One of the best records by the team so far in the league.
