After working his way up through the ranks at Sigma Olomouc, Zima was able to transfer to Slavia Praha in 2020. However, he only made 37 appearances for the Czech team before being able to join Torino of Serie A.
After playing 20 games in Serie A during his first season in Turin, the defender returned to Slavia due to a lack of playing time in the following two seasons. But his playing at the San Siro and against Milan in general experience will be a huge asset for the visiting team. Even if the visitors are accustomed to great environments, the team will benefit from knowing what it's like to play at San Siro, and hearing about his experiences there might have a positive impact. He will also be able to counsel his colleagues on how to neutralize the threats posed by the Rossoneri and point out possible weak points for his squad to focus on.
