South Korean international reacted to the departure of the Italian coach from Tottenham.
Son Heung-min made a commendable gesture towards his former coach Antonio Conte, who recently stepped down as Tottenham manager.
In a clear gesture of fairplay, the South Korean forward took his own blame for the team's poor performance, leaving an apology to the Italian coach:
"As a player, I feel very sorry for him. He is a world-class coach and I am very grateful to have worked with him. I don't know what the other players will think, but I have to apologize to him. I should have shown mine. better version and helped the team more, but I couldn't. Because of that, Conte had to take all the responsibility on his shoulders and left. And I feel responsible for that, but I'm sure that, wherever he wants whatever, Conte will have great results", stressed Son.
