West Ham United’s hopes to land a top-four spot stay alive with the 1-0 win against Wolverhampton in the Premier League match on Sunday. Tomas Soucek scored the winner for David Moyes’ side and lifts the team closer to fourth-placed Manchester United. West Ham had leapfrogged Arsenal recently with two back-to-back draw now they build pressure on Ralf Rangnick’s side.
Before coming into the match Moyes had stated he is hoping to see more goals from Michail Antonio and Soucek and the latter delivered with a beautiful winner just before the hour’s mark. Antonio on the other hand had not found the back of the net since New Year's Day, but the player did set up the goal for the Czech international to see West Ham at 45 points.
