AC Milan's hopes of qualifying for the Champions League dream were kept alive thanks to a 2-1 win over Bologna on Monday night.
The three points leave Milan just three points off Atalanta with three matches remaining of the Serie A season. Suso got the home side off to a good start in the first half with a fine left-footed effort from just inside the area. When Fabio Borini struck on 67 minutes, it looked to be game over but, the nerves of the home fans were put to the test.
Former Milan loanee Mattia Destro halved the deficit six minutes after Borini's goal and Lucas Paquetà was then sent off for Milan for two yellow cards to set up a tense finale. However, the hosts just about managed to cling on to a vital three points which leaves them with a chance of reaching Europe's elite competition.
