Switzerland draws with Scotland and is closest to the 'eighth'

Today, Switzerland maintained its unbeaten record in the 2024 European Football Championship, drawing 1-1 with Scotland, in the second round of Group A, approaching the round of 16.

In Cologne, the Scottish team, who had been beaten 5-1 by Germany, scored first, in the 13th minute, with an own goal by Fabian Schär, but Switzerland, after 3-1 win against Hungary, restored equality in the 26th minute, in a 'shot' by Xherdan Shaqiri.

In the table, hosts Germany, who yesterday beat Hungary 2-0, leads, with six points, and is already qualified for the 'eighth', while the Swiss are second, with four, the Scots third, with one, and the Magyars quarters, with zero.
