Torino beats Fiorentina by 4-0

Torino kicks off the 2022 season with a stunning hammering of Fiorentina. Josip Brekalo scored a brace for the team and took advantage of a few really terrible defensive mistakes. The team is coming off a COVID quarantine bubble and getting back to action. Wilfried Singo flicked in the Mergim Vojvoda cross and later Brekalo got his brace as well with a Sasa Lukic pull-back and then swopping on the Jose Callejon back pass.

Making his debut Teenager goalkeeper Luca Gemello played his part as well. Antonio Sanabria also scored for Torino as the team remained unbeaten at home in seven straight matches for the first time since 2016-17. Torino crawled their way into the 10th spot on the table while Fiorentina, despite the loss stayed 6th.
