Tottenham Hotspur is expected to make an attempt to sign Nottingham Forest forward Callum Hudson-Odoi before June 30th, according a report from Football Insider. The North London team intends to take advantage of Nottingham Forest's financial troubles in order to sign the player for a lower price. Nottingham Forest has been battling off-field problems, which included losing points in the previous campaign as a result of violating the Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR).
The club must now raise about £30 million from player sales by the end of June in order to abide with Financial Fair Play (FFP) laws. The 23-year-old winger has become an important member of the Reds after joining Forest for £5 million last summer following a difficult time at Bayer Leverkusen. Hudson-Odoi has performed admirably despite Forest's difficulties, tallying 8 goals and dishing out 1 assist in 29 league games.
