Ending his 14-year long career with Tottenham, Danny Rose has inked a deal with newly-promoted Watford. The 30-year-old was released by Tottenham in May and now the defender would be seen at Vicarage Road Stadium after signing a two-year deal with the club. Hornet picked up the player on a free transfer after he spent last season training with the Spur’s U23s.
The former England international player has enjoyed a brief loan spell at Watford as well in 2009 and made 7 appearances for the club. Rose had been a key member of Mauricio Pochettino’s squad making 241 appearances, he even won 29 England caps but in the 2019-2020 season he was sent on a loan at Newcastle and last season he was playing with U23s. Rose would now help Watford stay alive in the Premier League.
