Trent Alexander-Arnold blames the rigorous League schedule for injury

Injured Liverpool right-back player Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jurgen Klopp are questioning the chock-full Premier League schedule. Currently, many key Liverpool Players have joined the injured list as the jam-packed schedule takes its toll on players who are burning out with back to back fixtures.

Trent issues a statement saying player welfare has to be considered while scheduling matches across the different leagues who joined players like Virgil van Dijk, Jordan Henderson, and Joe Gomez who are sidelined because of injury. The 22-year-old shares there is no time left for recovery as the physical exertion is high with such fixtures and the human body cannot cope up with it. Liverpool’s side will face Brighton after facing Atalanta in the Champions League on Wednesday the same is the case for other clubs and leagues and labels it as a crime.
