After cruising to a 3-0 victory against Barcelona at Camp Nou this evening, Bayern Munich have extended their record-breaking unbeaten run in the Champions League group stage to 33 matches, including 30 wins and three draws, thanks to Sadio Mane, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Benjamin Pavard's goals. The longest such run in history has also been established for Barcelona, as their Champions League fate was already decided before the match.
Xavi's troubled Barca side have won only one of their five matches in Group C. Inter Milan will now participate in the Europa League for a second consecutive season after beating Viktoria Plzen 4-0 earlier this evening. With one match left in Group C, Inter Milan are one of only two teams to still have a 100% record in this season's group stage.
