Verona claim a Serie A win by beating Bologna

Verona beats Bologna 2-1 in the Serie A match after both the sides welcomed a host of players back in the lineup after a coronavirus outbreak. Bologna went ahead first in the 14th minute with an acrobatic opener by Riccardo Orsolini. Verona's Gianluca Caprari then brought the team back in the game with a leveler on 38 minutes with a back-heel flick and Nikola Kalinic finished the job at the 85th minute to seal a win.

Verona overcame their bad start to the year and things are looking up for them once more after a splurge in COVID-19 cases left the team grappling in the league, they even ended up losing a home match to last-place Salernitana. Then improved form against Sassuolo with Antonin Barak’s hattrick and 4-2 win. Verona climbed up to ninth place while Bologna remained 13th.
