With Al-Hilal willing to spend the rumoured £63 million to get the prolific Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen from Serie A winners Napoli, the player's future has taken yet another turn. Fabrizio Romano claims that the striker has rejected the Saudi Pro League, and Galatasaray, where the Nigerian played on loan the previous season, is now back in the race. Romano's breaking news X post stated: "Al Hilal's proposal has been rejected by Victor Osimhen. Osimhen refuses to join the Saudi Pro League team, even though they have an agreement to pay €75 million to join Napoli. Galatasaray will demand that he sign with the competition now open.
It had seemed Osimhen would move to the Saudi Pro League and play for Al Hilal, who had made it clear they were prepared to pay the £63m required for his parent club Napoli to sell the striker.
