Villarreal-Celta Vigo end at 4-0

Villarreal ends the day by climbing 3rd on the table in the Spanish League with a 4-0 rout of Celta Vigo. Villarreal took an early lead in just 5 minutes of the match with Gerrard shooting into the net. Celta looked helpless during the night with a terrible performance a case in point was made when Goalkeeper Blanco passed the ball to Trigueros who was at the edge of the box and sent in a reply to Moi Gomez who took the lead to 2-0 12 minutes later.

Their lead tripled in the first half itself with Parejo’s dominating 19 minutes later and at the 31st minute, Fer Nino scored the last goal of the night as the whole match’s outcome was decided within 30 minutes. Celta Vigo’s efforts remained in disdain with just two shots in goal in 90 minutes.
