West ham beat Tottenham 2-1

On Thursday night, Ange Postecoglou's team rightfully earned an early lead against West Ham at home, but a second-half comeback ultimately saw them lose 2-1. In the Premier League this season, no side has given up more points from winning situations than Tottenham, who have given up 16. Additionally, the Lilywhites, who had a five-point advantage at the top of the table, dropped to fifth place as a result of Spurs' run of five games without a victory.

Giovani Lo Celso's deflected cross for Tottenham struck the post in the first half, while Richarlison missed a close-range header to give the home team a lead again in the second half. In the end, though, Tottenham lacked a cutting edge even though they had 23 shots, while West Ham was clinical. Tottenham won eight of their first ten Premier League games, off to an incredible start.
