West Ham United manager David Moyes has lauded Kurt Zouma's skills and confirmed the France international would lead the Hammers this season. Zouma has started all four Premier League games for the Irons, guiding them to three victories, a tie, and fourth position in the league ahead of Saturday's visit of champions Manchester City to London Stadium.
Since joining the Irons from Chelsea in August 2021, the 28-year-old has been a tremendously prominent and popular part of the group. He has also thrived on the field, scoring four goals in 68 appearances and playing a key role in West Ham's Premier League and European victories, beginning the UEFA Europa Conference League final victory over Fiorentina in Prague in June. Zouma replaces Declan Rice, who captained the team last season before leaving for Arsenal.
