West Ham United targets Chelsea’s Trevoh Chalobah

This summer, West Ham may try to move for the versatile 24-year-old defender as they try to improve things in the back. Hammers's weakness this season was apparent, their weak defense ultimately held them back to 9th place this season. Under the new manager now, Julen Lopetegui, it is time that the team invested in some quality players who will help them qualify for Europe next season.

The 24-year-old defender from Chelsea might be their best addition to the squad. Chalobah is adaptable enough to play both right back and central defender. For the Hammers, his adaptability will be an asset. When it comes to injuries and rotation, his versatility may come in rather handy. For Chalobah signing with West Ham would be wise as well, since getting more playing time at Chelsea might not be in his cards.
