West Ham United ended the year on a strong note with a spectacular 4-1 win over Watford at Vicarage Road in the Premier League. Claudio Ranieri’s side enjoyed an early lead within five minutes of the match with Emmanuel Dennis.
Hammers but took complete control of the match from that point against Premier League’s newly-promoted side and Tomáš Souček first fired a warning shot which was followed by Said Benrahma’s goal within a span of one minute and 49 seconds apart. Irons’ third attempt was thawed by VAR when Jarrod Bowen’s goal was disallowed. Bowen then earned the side a penalty which was converted by Mark Noble at 58th minute and the perfect day for West Ham ended with substitute Nikola Vlašić’s injury-time shot as Hammers won their first game in four Premier League games.
