The Lakers, who have won eight of their previous ten games, added 27 points from Austin Reaves. With 7:57 remaining in the third quarter, Reaves made a 3-pointer to give Los Angeles the lead for good, 71-68. Reaves scored ten of the Lakers' points, starting a 13–4 surge. The Lakers outscored the Knicks 37-23 in the fourth quarter thanks to 21 points from Rui Hachimura, 15 points from Max Christie, and 15 points from Dorian Finney-Smith.
