Adelaide 36ers defeat OKC Thunder in NBA preseason

The Thunder, who played host to the 36ers on Thursday, had had enough notice about the tenacious Australian team. In Oklahoma City, Adelaide wasn't quite as smart. At Paycom Center, Tre Mann and the Thunder destroyed the 36ers 131-98. Mann moved around the 36ers while executing his nasty step-back jumper. The second-year guard finished the game with 26 points on 9 of 11 field goal attempts, including a scorching 8 of 10 from beyond the arc.

Only three Thunder players have ever made at least eight 3-pointers in a game during the regular season or playoffs. Five times were done by Paul George. It was twice done by Russell Westbrook. and once by Dennis Schroder. Mann could only shake his head after nailing a third-quarter heat-check three-pointer. The 36ers could have wanted to follow suit.
