Antetokounmpo’s 31 points guide the Bucks to a win over the Raptors

In Friday's 122-116 victory over the Toronto Raptors, Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo scored a game-high 31 points and pulled down 20 rebounds, spoiling guard Brandon Ingram's 29-point home debut. For the fourth consecutive game, the Bucks (2-0) trounced the Raptors (1-1) thanks to 20 points from former Raptor Gary Trent Jr. and 23 points from Cole Anthony, who came off the bench.

Despite suffering a damaged left toe, Antetokounmpo, the two-time NBA MVP, managed to play 38 minutes. Scottie Barnes had 17 points when he checked in. The difficult task of protecting Antetokounmpo fell to him. Immanuel Quickley contributed 19 points, and RJ Barrett scored 20. In the third quarter, Kyle Kuzma suffered an ankle injury that cost the Bucks the player. Trent made a three-pointer with 3:16 left to put the visitors ahead by four points in the back-and-forth contest that featured 19 lead changes and 14 ties.
