The visiting Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the New York Knicks 116-99 on Friday night thanks to a scorching outside shooting effort that included Anthony Edwards' third double-double of the season. For the Timberwolves, who have won five of seven games, Edwards ended with 36 points, a season-high 13 rebounds, and seven assists.
In addition to having 23 points, Naz Reid became the fourth NBA player this season to have a perfect shooting night from outside the arc while making at least six attempts. Having made at least six 3-pointers without missing, he is the fourth player in Timberwolves history to do it. The last one was Taurean Prince, who made 8 of 8 shots against the Knicks on March 20, 2023. Mike Conley scored 13 points, Rudy Gobert added 11 points, and Jaden McDaniels contributed 10 points.
